Authentic Italian Fig Cookies

Fig cookies made the old fashioned way.  Small batch and by hand.  Our Fig Cookie are a delicate vanilla flavored dough surronding a fig filling made with figs, marchino cherries, walnuts, dates, oranges, apricots and whiskey.  They they are lightly drizzled with a vanilla-orange glaze and finished with sprinkles or colored sugar.  Sprinkles or colored sugar change based on the season.
